Due to the COVID-19 situation, the library will be closed to the public until the
current emergency eases. Our drive-thru window is also closed until further notice.
We will be following the recommendations of the CDC and state government
officials in determining when it is safe to resume in-person services.
Materials may be returned thru our book drop(s). One is located on the side of our building on W. Market Street. The other is located at the entrance of Gallatin County Fairgrounds in Glencoe. All due dates have been extended and we do not charge fees for late items.
The Library provides Hoopla for our patrons, free of charge .This is an online service which offers movies, music, audiobooks, eBooks, comics, and more, 24/7 with your library card and pin #. The number of checkouts has been increased from 8 to 12 per month during this time while we are closed.
If you do not have a library card, or if your library card # is not working for Hoopla – please call or send us a Facebook message and we will assist you as soon as possible.
Aside from Hoopla, we have additional online resources accessible from home- Kentucky Virtual Library & Ancestry Library Edition. Please call 859-567-7323 ext. 16 to obtain username and password information for these websites. Links can be found under the Services and Database Subscriptions tabs.
The use of our Wi-Fi has been increased from during library hours to 24/7. It should be accessible in our back-parking lot.
We hope you are well and wish you nothing but the best health
in the upcoming weeks. Please stay in as much as possible and stay safe.
We’re eager to open our doors back up and serve you all as soon as we can!
