The Gallatin County Public Library provides digitized Gallatin County newspapers in .PDF format, hosted on our Google Drive.

Educate Station content is created by a team of experienced and  passionate educators from across the United States. Their educators bring  vast subject-matter expertise, teaching credentials, and many years of  experience as classroom teachers and curriculum developers.

Fiero Code is a self-guided online software program that teaches you how to code through hundreds of coding tutorials and dozens of real-world projects. Fiero Code offers a gamified learning experience ― as you progress through the activities, you’ll earn clothes and accessories for your personal avatar.

Sign up using a personal email address and password of your choice, and when prompted, select the Gallatin County Library from the "What library or school do you attend or is closest to you?" to gain free access.

The Freegal Music+ service allows patrons to access a collection spanning over 18 million songs from more than 93,000 music labels worldwide including Sony Music, Epic, RCA, and Columbia. Freegal Music+ also offers a completely redesigned mobile app and website which utilizes modern application practices to ensure an easy-to-use and enjoyable experience. The free application is available for library cardholders and can be downloaded in the Apple® App Store and Google® Play store. Use your library card & PIN to log in.

GCPL hosts digitized yearbooks on its Google Drive for free! Browse or download at your leisure.

Hoopla is a service that lets patrons borrow movies, music, audio books, ebooks, comics and TV shows to enjoy on their computers, tablets, and phones. There’s no waiting— titles can be streamed immediately, or downloaded for offline use.  Hoopla has thousands of titles to choose from, with more being added daily. 

KYVL offers a variety of resources for students, from databases to digital learning tools: you can log in using your library card and PIN, or by requesting a login and password from library staff. Databases include Ancestry Library, Britannica, EBSCO, LearningExpress, Novelist, ProQuest, and KY Digital Library.

Parents of reluctant readers can access TumbleBookLibrary and TeenBookCloud through KYVL. To access these services, be sure you have logged in to KYVL first.
